Pricing Group templates can help speed up the event creation process should you run events that have the same ticket types and promotion codes.
It allows you to define your ticket prices, ticket style and/or promotion codes within the template. With a template in place, you have the option for uploading it into the event upon Create New Event or into an existing event.

Creating a Pricing Group Template
You can add and perform the following to a pricing group template:
- Add ticket types
- Set Limits by ticket type
- Add Headers on ticket types
- Add promotion codes
- Assigning promotion codes to specific ticket types with the template
- Assign a custom ticket style
- Upload a background image to the ticket style
To create a pricing group template:
- From the left menu, click Dashboard
- From the left menu, click Templates then click Pricing group template
- Click Add template
- Give the template a name and click OK
- Add ticket types, promotion codes or assign a custom ticket style to the pricing group
- Once you're happy with the pricing group, click Save

Uploading a Pricing Group Template during event creation
With your template created, during the Create New Event process, you will now have the option to apply the template to your new event.
To upload the pricing group template during event Creation:
- From the left menu, click Dashboard
- From the left menu, click Events then click Create New Event
- When prompted for a Ticket Price Setup Options, select Use Pricing Group Template from the Setup Options drop-drown field
- Select your pricing group template from the Template drop-down field
- Click Next and proceed with completing Create New Event
Import a Pricing Group Template into an existing event
Should you have already created your event and wish to apply a Pricing Group Template, you will have the option to import the template into the event.
To import a pricing group template into an existing event:
- From the left menu, click Dashboard
- In the Manage events overview, select your event
- From the left menu, go to Pricing Group (ticket prices), under Ticketing
- Click Add Pricing Group
- Enter a name for the new pricing group in the Pricing Group Name field
- Select your desired pricing group template from the Pricing Group Option drop-down field
- Click OK
With your new pricing group imported into the event, you will still need to assign it to the relevant Sessions/Sections of your event. Without doing so, these ticket types will not be available to your customers for selection.
To assign the pricing group to your sessions/sections:
- From the left menu, go to Pricing Schema, under Ticketing
- Use the Pricing groups drop-down field to select the pricing group template you imported above, for all relevant Sections under Session Times to change which pricing group is assigned to each section
- Click Save
- With your new pricing group assigned, go back to Pricing Group (ticket prices), under Ticketing
- Select any pricing groups that are no longer in use, and click Delete Pricing Group
