Vanco Events: Passing Fees to Purchasers
With Vanco Events, you can choose to pass additional fees onto your ticket purchasers. These fees can be customized as a percentage, a flat amount (per ticket or per transaction), or a combination of both. To set up or modify these fees, please reach out to our support team:

Fee Types:
- Ticket Fee: This fee is applied to each individual ticket purchased. For example, if you set a $1 fee and the customer buys 5 tickets, an additional $5 will be added to their total at checkout.
- Processing Fee: This fee is applied to the total cart value as a per-transaction fee. For example, if you set a $1 fee and the customer buys 5 tickets, an additional $1 will be added to their total at checkout. Note that this fee does not apply to cash transactions processed at the Box Office.
- Fundraiser Fee: This fee applies exclusively to payments made for fundraisers. It does not apply to standard event donations.
Additional Information:
- Covering Processing Costs: If you want your purchasers to cover the full cost of payment processing, our support team can help you calculate the breakeven point. While we may not guarantee an exact match between service fees and payment processing costs, we can get as close as possible.
- Fee Application: Once a fee is set, it will be applied universally across all events and fundraisers. Unfortunately, there's no option to exempt specific events or fundraisers from these fees.
- Free Tickets: No fees will be added to tickets that are marked as free.
