Adjustments can be made to the information collected at checkout or via custom data via Vanco Events' Edit a booking.
Life is busy and mistakes happen. When a booking is made and the wrong email, name etc is entered, it's now easy for you, the organizer to locate the booking and then edit it to correct these mistakes. This ensures your data throughout the event and for future marketing is correct.
Edit a booking can be found on your dashboard under Booking. The behavior of this screen for searching is similar to find and move a booking.
To edit a booking:
- First, select Edit a Booking on the dashboard.
- Select the event
- Enter the surname of the person who made the booking
- Click search.
- This will then bring up their booking to which you can click Edit to review both booking details and custom responses entered.
The top section is the information which is entered upon checkout such as Booking Person's name, address, phone and email.
If you have custom questions, these will also be displayed under either the once per booking or per ticket headings. Upon saving, validation will be made on your fields to ensure they match the criteria set for the current event at that time. Ex. if that if a field is required, you cannot leave it blank.
Ticket types, values paid or sections/seat selection cannot be edited on this screen. Please use Refund a Booking for where there is a price difference or Move a Booking when a person needs to move sections and seat allocations to ensure capacities of your event are updated.
